The former moated castle was built in 1572 in the renaissance style on order by Count Eberhard von Waldenburg. It has been owned by the community Pfedelbach since 1962. At palace's inner courtyard one find the arcades and a colourful painted wall reminiscent of Tuscan palace buildings. The grand palace chapel that is very popular for marriagecelebrations was constructed in 1732by Count Ferdinand von Hohenlohe-Bartenstein.
